Coaching is about facilitating the journey towards positive change. It’s a collaborative and creative process of exploration, reflection and discovery that starts from a place of curiosity. In my coaching, I apply a holistic approach by integrating mindfulness, embodiment and nonviolent communication techniques to enhance well-being, enable personal growth and nurture body-mind balance.

Coaching Sessions

During our sessions, I guide you in answering important questions about what you want to achieve and how to get there. I always start with a free and non-binding 30-minute discovery call, which gives us the opportunity to get to know one another and see if there is a match. During the discovery, we discuss your goals and co-design a coaching trajectory that is tailor-made to your needs, including the number and frequency of sessions.

I offer coaching online via Zoom or in person in Copenhagen. One session takes 1 hour. A trajectory generally ranges from 6 to 9 sessions. 

 

Your investment per session is €100 / 750DKK. My wish is to make coaching accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore, I offer a discount if you are a student or find it financially challenging to pay the listed price. Reach out to hear more.

  • What is somatic coaching?
    Living in a mind-driven society, we are taught to celebrate the intelligence of the thinking mind and ignore the signals of our body. In somatic coaching, we slow down the pace to listen to the body’s signals. The more we practice listening to what our body is communicating to us, the more we can tune in to the intelligence of the body. ​ In somatic coaching, all parts of the mindbody are recognised. During a session, we work with the whole of you, i.e., your behaviours, thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations. By listening to the information that is provided at different levels, we allow for new insights to emerge.
  • What are the principles of somatic coaching?
    The Authority of the Body. During our sessions, we listen to the wisdom of your body, whether it tells you to move, lie down or take a break. Many of us are taught to ignore the signals of the body from a young age. Choosing to honour our body’s needs, rather than undermine its wisdom, are small act of rebellion to reclaim the authority of our body. Co-creative partnership. Coaching is a process of co-creation and collaboration where unexpected insights can emerge. It’s a partnership where we co-create the process and space together from a place of curiosity and exploration. Being Open to the Unfolding of the Present Moment: In somatic coaching, we embrace an experimental attitude and the willingness to navigate the unknown. This creates space for new insights and different perspectives to arrive.
  • What is my role as a somatic coach?
    As a somatic coach, I support you in facilitating your inner sensemaking process and help you untangle chains and knots to achieve greater clarity. I hold a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space for you to connect with your body and mind and access your inner wisdom. Through somatic practices, I support you in regaining your relationship with your body by enhancing your inherent capacity to listen to your body’s needs and reclaiming the power to respond to these needs with awareness and choice. In every conversation, so much more is communicated beyond the spoken words. In our sessions, I attend to the wholeness of your person. This means that I might share observations of your body language and ask what certain gestures or movements mean to you.
  • How do you make the most out of the coaching journey?
    Knowing that you are responsible for your growth by • creating the time, energy and headspace to commit to the coaching journey. • showing up focused and open to new experiences. • sharing openly and honestly what is working for you and what is not (and expecting the same from me). You are accountable for your actions towards the desired change. As a coach, I help to hold you accountable for achieving that change.
